TAURUS
The Hungarian company Ruggyanta Aruguàr was founded in 1882 in Budapest.
The manufacture of tires under the brand name Cordatic starts in 1912.
The brand TAURUS was created in 1913, the symbol with the bull was created in 1923.
In 1973, the brand TAURUS was applied to all the products manufactured by the company, in association with the brands Emergé (oil industry), Palma (camping articles, bellows), Cordatic, etc. That same year, the company changed its name to TAURUS HUNGARIAN RUBBER WORKS.
In 1974, the company started to manufacture metal ply truck radial tires in Budapest, and in 1979, agricultural tires in Nyiregyhasa.
